IT infrastructure · Telecommunications · Wireless coverage

The overall project.

Plan the company’s entire IT infrastructure, supply the necessary equipment and deliver the implementation. The project combined server and virtualisation technology, client-server systems, telecommunications and wireless coverage across the premises. It also included connecting the aluminium and PVC production machinery, industrial PCs and scanners via a VLAN.

My contribution.

Planning, supply and implementation, from the central server infrastructure to workstations and communications systems.

The technical infrastructure

The project included server and virtualisation technology, client-server systems, industrial PCs and the telephone system. Each area was incorporated into the overall planning and implementation.

Wireless coverage
tailored to the site.

Wireless coverage was measured throughout the company. The findings informed the implementation of Wi-Fi coverage in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, together with DECT coverage using cascaded radio cells.
